LinkedIn(Reason 2) – are your profile settings stopping people from contacting you or connecting with you?

This can happen in at least two ways –

2) Connection request settings that prevent connecting without entering your e-mail address. If someone that would be a good connection sees your profile & cannot connect because they are prompted for your e-mail, you may loose business sales or references. Fix this under “Select who can send you invitations” – select “Anyone on LinkedIn”. Remember you do not have to accept all connection requests if you don’t see the benefit.
